So sad to hear of Josh’s passing. We have some great memories together! I always remember him being the happiest and nicest guy and a great friend! Sending love and prayers from the Vickers family! ❤️
Josh was the life of every party,  even when there wasn't a party, he would create one with his larger-than-life presence!  His smile and infectious giggle would light up any room.   He was a fiercely loyal friend and loved his family wholeheartedly.   Our Moms have been best friends for 55+ years, which made us lifelong friends since childhood.... oh, the concerts, games, swimming, pranks and antics we played as kids, you all understand knowing him as an adult, lol!   I'll forever hear your laughter...it's been a privilege to know and love you... until we meet again my dear "cousin" you'll always hold a special place in my heart.    🐼💔🙏

My most heartfelt condolences to all of Josh's family. This hurts bad. Josh and I met at Northeastern and became fast friends. He was a big part of my life while we were in my 20s. He was even nice enough to let me use his ID before I turned 21.  He was thoughtful and cared a great deal for all his friends. We lost touch a bit but still checked in here and there. My dad passed away last year and Josh was one of the first people to reach out to me.

Josh, thank you for the friendship. My memories of you will always be with you smiling and that chuckle. I love you, buddy.

I am so very sorry for your family’s loss. I always loved when Josh came in to Hundred Mile Brewing. He was a kindred spirit of whom I loved, my staff loved and fellow patrons loved and became fast friends with. Josh gave me several bins of Christmas decorations so I could decorate my house for my kids this past year. Ironically I never took one of them down from my kitchen shelf and it is still there next to an angel figurine. I always think of him when I look at it and now it has an entirely new meaning and purpose. He always told me whatever I was doing with the brewery was working and to keep doing what I  doing. That meant a lot to me being so green and Josh having so much experience and knowledge. He was always so nice, kind and so so very smart! I loved his little chuckle. It made me smile. It still does and always will! 🙏

My deepest condolences to Josh’s family ❤️. My time with Josh was short but in that precious time I was instantly drawn to Josh. I would say to Alex… “there is just something about him”…we met poolside at the Vela/mansion. lol

Alex and Josh became instant brotherfriends and I became their third wheel.

A new family at the Vela. This included laughing, meeting family, planning and helping each other.

We had some big plans and I was soooooo excited for our next chapter together. Josh passed the same day as my birthday - an unexplainable comfort.

May the 4th be with you!

Rest in peace Josh ❤️

As with many others, Josh was one of the first people I met when I moved to Arizona/Vela from Michigan five years ago.

His energy was contagious - he wanted everyone around him to be taken care of and happy. His pool drink of choice was Ruby Red High Noons mixed with grapefruit Deep Eddy’s - and he would bring red solo cups down and share with anyone that was around.

For the last year and a half, Josh would stay at my place while I was traveling - he loved my cat, Bee, and I’m pretty sure she loved him too (she showed it by biting him.) I have a Bee-Cam that I would check in on while I was gone, and he was always cuddling  with her. I never asked him to do any of that, it was just his nature.

He taught me so much about life, business, kindness…I could go on but my words just escape me at this point.

I loved Josh, and I wish I would have shown him more of that. What a great man.

I’ll miss you forever, big guy.

Love.

Josh was one of my first friends in Arizona. I moved here from Chicago not knowing a soul and meeting Josh was like having a little piece of home away from home. He was the kind of person that would drop what he doing in a second if I needed help. He was always the life of the party at the Vela pool. So many good memories were made there. He has made my last 5 years here in Arizona so special and memorable. It’s so hard to grasp that you’re gone. Thank you for being such a good friend to me. Love you Josh ❤️

Unfortunately no picture but the night of my wedding, after everything was done, Josh, my wife, and I made a stop to McDonalds for some late night burgers. Sat in the hotel lobby for several hours just laughing and telling stories. So thankful for memories like this.

I’m honored to have called Josh one of my best friends and thankful for all the wonderful memories and stories beginning back when we were just kids.

He always lit up a room, made everyone feel like they were the most important, and could be counted on for so many laughs. Such a great person and gone from us way to early.

I miss you my brother, but will always remember!

Josh became family the day my mom married his dad and really even before that. When I got married Josh was there and the one thing I remember is he hugged me and said “I’ve never had a sister before”. We may have been “steps” but we called each other “bro” and “sis” every time we saw each other or talked. Josh was so full of life and loved to enjoy every moment of it. He loved his family, his brother, mom and dad and my mom too. He was funny, kind and made you laugh. He will be so missed.

My deepest condolences to Tom, Erik, Candy and the rest of his family.

My heart is broken. Josh was the most thoughtful person on the planet. Showing up at every function with flowers or balloons or mimosas. I have no words to describe this tragedy. You will never be forgotten. ❤️🐼
