Josephine “Jo” Mary Piccone, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed at age 96 on January 8, 2023 at her home in Rockville, Maryland. Born in Italy in 1926, she arrived by ship at Ellis Island when she was one and a half years old. She grew up in Ardmore, Pennsylvania outside of Philadelphia. Jo married her life-long partner, Domenic, in November 1945. After some military moves they ended up in suburban Maryland in 1959. …
