R.I.P.  Pat! I will not forget you or your impact on our restaurant community! Just so sad right now…

My heart goes out to Pat's family. The pain of losing a loved one is so great. I am so sorry, I’m thankful you have each other. I’m grateful I had a chance to meet some of you. You truly are a beautiful family and was so inviting of me. Thank you. Well, I first met Pat about 25 years ago and over the years we would run into each other and he always made me feel known. I loved to support all of the restaurants he opened and it started with the Harmon and the fun pray for snow events. I won snow shoes at one of them! Well we reconnect about a year ago and we started talking about business and he hired me and was all ready thinking how he could help me grow my business. He was so selfless. So we talked often and we started a monthly dinner where I would update him with his business books and he would give me a check and he would ask me about my life and how my daughter was, he was so good with kiddos. Well this was building a friendship I didn’t realize would have such an impact on me. Pat truly became my friend and I looked forward to our monthly “meetings”. He helped me through a tough time in my life with his kind words and his encouragement I felt seen and valued. He was truly one of a kind.  I am grateful for the time we had together even though it was too short my heart is absolutely broken over the loss of this friendship and the amazing man Pat was. I’m looking forward to Celebrating Pats life with you.

And to Pat… It's been a long day without you, my friend And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again, So let the light guide your way and Hold every memory as you go it’s been a long day without you my friend and I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again❤️Love you always and I’m sorry I never shared more with you what your friendship truly meant to me. But I kinda think you may have known. I’ll be seeing you.

Pat was a great guy, a true visionary!  I looked up to him for his tenacity and grit, as we both started businesses on Pacific Avenue in downtown Tacoma, just a couple blocks away from each other.   To see him flourish and grow and expand his businesses was not surprising.  It's a true loss to the community.  I'm forever grateful for his trust in me to make a couple of neon signs for his businesses.

Pat and I thought we would save Tacoma when he opened The Harmon and I opened The Vault.  For the next 15 years…… we shared a bond in saving Tacoma.  For that friendship….. we will always be connected.

And then came Celebrity Waiters.  Together, we pulled everyone we knew into that event and raise sooooo much money for charity.  Oh , and we had the social event of the year.  Damn.  This sucks.

So sad to hear about pats passing , condolences to the family and friends . Pat took me in like family at the hub . Will be missed lots . Pat was a very giving person and was there for my family and I.Big hugs and prayers to the family.
Sending much love to Pat's family from the Millers. Can't believe this news. You will be missed. ❤️
So Sad to hear of your passing Pat. Thank you for being such a strong supporter of my small business and such a mentor to so many in the industry. We will continue to “Pray for Snow!” Rest Easy Friend.
This news is so very sad. Pat was a fun-loving, athletic, smiley and caring guy to all his friends at WSU, and a much admired leader amongst his peers. A fond memory at WSU was of Pat and the Rugby guys hosting Movie Nights by pulling their couches, chairs, coffee tables, lamps and the TV out onto the front lawn of a rental house and inviting everyone over for “Movie Night” with popcorn and beer! Here are some pictures of the WSU Track Girls and the Rugby Guys on a cross-country ski trip in 1984. Good times! Rest in peace, Pat. Hope you are skiing on those clouds up there.

My deepest sadness for this extraordinary and amazing man…prayers and blessings for all❤️
Always a good handshake guy was Pat. Got enough hand sanitizer from Pat for years. Loved the “Pray For Snow” parties and just meeting up for a brew or two … That smile will be missed my friend …  Stu
Pat was incredible at creating relationships and building vision around a great Downtown Tacoma.  A very generous brother that will be missed greatly. Much love to the family.

We are shocked and saddened with the news. Pat was a fast friend, positive light, always moving forward, man with a mission, and a huge heart for anyone he came in contact with. Will miss your smile and the twinkle in your eye.
