My son and I were patients of Dr. Davis at least that’s how we started but became friends soon after. I first met Justin when my business partner and I were doing a remodel on his parents home on San Marcos Road. A nice young man, very inquisitive about what and why we’re doing what we’re doing. He turned into a great man and a superior doctor.  I really don’t know why God calls home those he does, but he must have a reason.

Shared a heart Red heart

We are heartbroken.  Justin was a man bigger than life.  He loved his family dearly and enjoyed bragging about them.  Skye, Sloane, and Jack - know that your Dad will ALWAYS be with you - you will keep him alive in your hearts and in your memories.  Cherish them always.

Lisa - whatever you need from us, now or ever.  We are with you.  May you find peace and solace in your memories together and your faith that you will be reunited again someday.

My heartfelt condolences to the Davis family during this incredibly difficult time. I knew Justin through my job as medical staff director at Twin Cities, and my husband was his patient. Through all my years of working with doctors in several different places, Justin stood out. He had knowledge, empathy and compassion, but above all that, he had a light within that radiated out to all around him. What a wonderful soul who will be greatly missed!

Sending thoughts of comfort and courage your way. We stand with you in this time of sorrow."

Love,

Sally and Mike

This is not fair!  I (and many others, including all of us on this site) loved this man, who still 30 years after leaving college still affectionately called me “Lil Bro” - a holdover from our fraternity days. As everyone so articulately stated, JD was the warmest man with the biggest heart and even bigger bear-sized man hugs! So many stories. So so glad to see him in Jul before my family left the country. So tragic, way too early, he will be dearly missed. To Lisa, the kiddos and rest of the family, Big Hugs and as we say in Sigma Chi, “You’ll always find it here”.
