My condolences to the family. I visited John on his farm numerous times. He was always friendly, smiling and outgoing. Always eager to be of service. I know him through MKP.

I’ve missed him for so long.
We first got to know each other in the late 1970s when I was Police Administrator in O’Fallon and John taught at Fort Zumwalt High School. There was only one then and there were four when he retired!
I l last saw him at our eye doctors office, about a year or two ago. Only because we had, separately, booked appointments right together.
I don’t know know what happened, but we didn’t see much of each other after his new wife came onboard.
Anyway, I’ll miss even more now that he is gone to be with God.

This man started my 45+ year career.
Best teacher I ever had.
He will be missed.

John was my Granddad. He still is, in my heart. I remember when my family and I would visit him at the farm he lived at. He was a kind, loving man who loved music and stories. I recall that he loved a special brand of cookies we could only buy in our state of California. The last time I saw him, we sang songs together that we wrote ourselves. It hurts my heart to see such a great man pass, and I’m sure many others feel the same.

Mr. Bragg was my absolute favorite teacher! He inspired me to go to school for Architecture. He was kind, knowledgeable and pushed students to be their best. I am saddened to hear of his passing but thankful that his life will be remembered fondly by so many lives that he touched and inspired! May God rest your soul.

My husband had Mr. Bragg as his drafting teacher. He loved him! My husband passed in 2012, but I send my heartfelt condolences to all of you. He was a fantastic teacher, and well remembered and loved. He made a difference ❤️
