A native of Toombs County, Georgia, she was a daughter of Winfield Fred Sutton and Eviedell Warnock Sutton. She was a finance secretary with Household Finance in Jacksonville, worked with her first husband Eddie at Eddie Edwards Wrecker Sales and Service in Jacksonville and her last job worked for Pioneer Paper that supplied paper and …
