This was very difficult for me. Jerry was like a second dad to me, being that I’m his younger brother by almost 20 years. I learned a lot from him, and have wonderful memories. Thanks for everything, Jer. Universal blessings of peace and comfort to Sarah and his kids. See you on the other side dear brother…one day! 🙏🏼🕊️❤️
I am truly saddened to just now hear about Mr. Modjeskis' passing. He was my 5th grade teacher back in the 1983/84 school year. He was one of the only teachers who ever made me feel that they cared. He once had a conversation with me after class when he noticed I was sad about something. Here it is 42 years later, and I never forgot that conversation. I wish I had the opportunity to tell him how much he meant to me. If I had to choose my 10 favorite people to ever come into my life, he would definitely be on that list. He was truly a great man and he will forever have my respect and love. RIP Sir.
Anyone who met him would agree Jerry was truly one-of-a-kind. I was honored to have known him for over 25 years and he always made me feel like part of his troupe. He will be greatly be missed!
My deepest sympathy for Sarah and her family. Jerry will always be remembered as a friendly face and no matter how long since I had the pleasure to see he and Sarah at Mass in Kentland, they were both so cordial. Jerry RIP.
