Jennifer was my student in the newly formed Cognitive Science department at UC San Diego. Steve Clark told me of her death and this website. It is always distressing to hear of the death of a former student, but her history is filled with wonderful accomplishments, and I was pleased to learn that her professional career was based upon the lessons she learned from that Cog Sci experience. Her battle with lymphoma is inspiring: she learned about the disease and fought it successfully for a long time.  My deepest condolences to her family and friends.
To the Creager family.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time.  What a remarkable woman Jenn was but know that she is smiling down on all of us from heaven.
Jennifer was so brave and resilient in her pursuit of a cure.  So very inspirational.  We share a birthday…3/13 so we always had that connection….loved that she thought I was younger than she was!!! (I’m not!)

Jennifer was a mainstay in multiple CLL Society support groups. Her insights and research on cutting edge treatments were amazing considering she did not have a medical background. I am sure there was more than one doctor who was amazed, impressed and even intimidated by her knowledge. We can all learn from her dedication to research all options, and not take 'the doctor's word for it'. Because our journeys were similar, I valued her input and we were in frequent contact talking about new treatments and 'what-if' scenarios. I will miss her; the groups will miss her and the CLL Community will miss her.

Brad, Delaney and Cadi, Sending you so much love at this difficult time.  I worked with Jen back at Xerox many years ago and she was a good friend to me.  I am sending  you all prayers for peace and strength and hope you find comfort in the wonderful memories you made together.  Sincerely, Lina Fedynyshyn

I shared a lot of fun memories with Jenn back in our UCSD days. From random days at the beach, hanging out in the dorms/apartments or riding the Rosarita to Ensenada bike ride.

We hadn't kept in close touch, but was blessed to have a dinner with Jenn and my adult daughter and her in 2022. It was great to reconnect, compare stories, catch up with our kids lives and relive some fun memories.

Praying for Brad and the girls during this tough time of profound loss. Love and hugs from the Burckins
