We don’t have many photos of Jay. Just a couple that we will treasure. Jay had a million friends and loved ones but to us Jay was one in a million!!! He was on our very short list of “favorite people in the world!” We have always felt so loved and important to both Jay and Rachel but I think maybe everyone feels that way in their presence because they both have a way of loving and serving and laughing and making people feel loved and important. They have always been so good at being present and welcoming people and animals into their cozy, inviting space. My favorite thing about Jay is how he would share something tender and get tears in his eyes and you could see the emotion on his face. He always wore his heart on his sleeve. We loved him so much and as we mourn for the huge loss to Rachel we also mourn for our own loss of a man we loved and admired so much! There just aren’t many people like Jay in the world! I hope I can be more like him to honor his memory as I work to be a better friend! Love you Jay and Rachel! Beth and Tim Haggett

We love Jay dearly and will miss him. We always looked forward to sharing the time the Swedes are here with him and Rachel. We always had a good time when he was involved. We are so sorry to lose him.
