If you’ve met me on Island you already know Jackie changed my life forever. I ran out of air my first time scuba diving and was terrified of the ocean after that and determined to never dive again. Jackie knew this and literally held my hand under water, taking me down with her angel wings and making me feel so safe and secure. I remember writing a review for Seasport Divers balling my eyes out realizing my life was forever changed. Jackie had such a love and passion for the ocean and effervescent zeal for life. She got me completely hooked on diving and the most magical moments of my life have been underwater with her. I remember the first time we saw eagle ray at Ni’ihau being in the water next to her arms T’d and feeling the biggest surge of adrenaline, courage, delight, excitement, and fulfillment I’ve ever felt in my life. She truly touched me and had a profound impact on my life in the time we were friends; I can only imagine how inspiring and captivating she was for those closest to her.
