I remember organizing a self defense class for Jackie and my Daughters Natale and Maria. When it was Jackie's turn to demonstrate her skills she practically knocked the instructor over! He said wow your strong!

Jackey told me one day. Mini, I’ve never caught an ahi, so I said we gotta go and get you a nice fat ahi. Her sister was on the island visiting for that time. We all went fishing one morning and first thing in the morning we hooked up a tuna, she reeled that fish like a champ. She was so happy. We also shared sunsets while surfing, I will always remember her beautiful smile. Rest In Peace mi Amiga Jackey. ❤️🌷🌈🌊🎣🏄🏽‍♀️🌞

It’s rare to meet someone with such a passion for adventure and life. Jackie was always ready to experience this life to the fullest. I don’t think i will ever free dive as deep, dance for hours, or laugh as hard with anyone else as i did with her. I am so thankful for the beautiful memories we shared together and for knowing such a unique and amazing person. I will always love you Jackie!

Jackie was one of the rare souls that instantly made you happy. Upon seeing her, I felt immediate excitement and joy. Coming from someone that was not a part of her inner circle, I am even more in awe of Jackie's ability to so easily extend love and light. It has been made extraordinarily evident over the last few days that she so naturally had this affect on everyone - be it people in the community or tourists that would return to Sea Sport to dive with her. There's comfort in knowing that the mourning and sadness is only for us here on Earth. She is happy somewhere. She is free. And for all of us that were so lucky to know her, we carry the essence of Jackie in our hearts, inspiring us to live fully and happily every day. A hui hou 🌞

first thing i saw on this gorgeous soul was her big, meaningful, genuine & beautiful smile. never walked past someone without acknowledging and saying hello. she was a light, a woman who had a purpose on this earth and we can be comforted to know that where ever her soul travels, she will leave behind a little bit of her everywhere. if you knew her you were blessed. rest easy my sister 🤍

Jackie’s energy and stoke for life were infectious. She lived more life than most people even dream of and was one of the most badass people ever! I was always inspired by her to chase adventure, be playful and lighthearted, and appreciate the present. She had a big heart and a large capacity to love people and share her passions with the community and total strangers. It is so powerful knowing how many people she touched and is uniting together through this process. She’s forever in our hearts and the infinite oceans... probably flying high with the manta rays and starting dance parties, too. 💙
