Port Charlotte, Florida- James Schappe was born January 5, 1936, and passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019; his daughter Tia and son-in-law Jim at his side. He married Susan Schappe on December 26, 1959. Sue preceded Jim in death in February 2017. Jim enjoyed time with family, grandchildren, boating and fishing, real estate business, studying history, watching sports and listening to country music. He and Sue enjoyed the last 20 years living in Florida, …
