Idris, My sincere condolences to your family and your partner.
I still can't believe you're gone.
I will miss our chats in the staffroom, especially about football, you always teasing me about being a Spurs supporter.
Sleep In Peace 🕯️❤️❤️
Idris................
May God continue to bless you as you embark on your next journey.
Meeting you them many years ago was a pleasure.
You trained with me and not only did we become great sprints rivals but we became great friends. The convos we had, the banter, the way we encouraged each other.
This has truly knocked me.
You are a wonderful soul and you lit up the room with that amazing cheeky smile and laugh.
This is one hell of a loss.
Words can not describe what you meant to the people of this world.
You gave so much and you had so much more to give.
My condolences to your family.
I hope one day we meet again.
Gone but never ever forgotten!!!

In lieu of flowers

In lieu of flowers, consider a gift to Building a Well in Memory of Idris.
I have known Idris since he was a teenager, he came to train with our group at tooting, he was very talented we thought, and he developed his sprinting technique very fast, then he decided to move on to other groups. I would like to think he learned his basic skills with us, he was always a dedicated and polite young man that enjoyed his athletics, he later went on to become quite a good sprinter and with the right brakes would of been a top elite athlete. my brother and I always noted his sprinting with the club and gave him encouragement, he was always receptive, we will miss him and his smiles.
Idris, you are gone but not forgotten!! I cannot get this loss into my head as yet, still in total shock!!! I met you when I came with Aunty Doyin to see your Mum and you have grown to be part of my family as you are part of ours!! May God grant you peace and rest in Power!! I pray for Auntie Elija and your siblings, Nura, Fatmina and Dami, I pray Allah comforts all of you!! Finally, Rochelle we are all praying for you 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

An amazing blessed soul has left us.You were true to everything you did and everyone you met. You gave my daughter courage, strength and power to pursue everything she wants to do. You were a true inspiration. She has looked up to you and listened to your every word even she didn't agree with you. Your banter with her was truly remarkable and any criticism you ever gave her was always taken on board.I found a great friend whom was trustworthy and kind. You'll truly be missed but never forgotten.
It still doesn't feel real that he's no longer with us. My deepest condolences go out to his family and partner.

I only knew Idris a short while, but I'm so glad to have known him at all. He shined with so much positivity, and spoke with so much passion. It was clear that he loved what he did, and he worked so incredibly hard. He was a true inspiration.

He never failed to brighten up my day, and I'm sure he did the same for so many others. I cannot express how much he will be missed here at Sacred Heart

Rest in peace Idris

Really sorry to hear this.

My condolences to Idris’s family and friends. Idris was one of the most inspirational, honest and determined individual I have seen in my life. In the two years he trained my son Rizgar he has been a great friend as well as a great coach and mentor. Idris we will always remember your broad smile and kindness. Rest in peace my brother.
Haven’t seen idris since secondary school. But he was a nice lad. My thoughts are with his family at this difficult time. RIP idris
Idris, your smile always lit up the staffroom, I will miss this. You would always check in on how I was recovering after an injury and gave so much valuable advice on fitness and wellbeing, thank you.

Your warm heart and kindness was not only experienced by colleagues at Sacred Heart but by all the children that you inspired through your coaching. Your relationship with the children encouraged them to have a positive outlook, develop their self worth and respect, not only in their attitude to sport but all aspects of school life. I can recall a number of occasions, where you would pull a child to one side if you observed that their behaviour did not reflect this, your words, the lightbulb needed to help them shine.

You will be more than missed by all your colleagues and the children at Sacred Heart. My thoughts and love go to all your family and friends.

Idris and I studyied marketing together at Northampton uni for three years and we lived together in the second and third years. He was great fun to be around and a genuinely kind person who was a good friend to me while I was at uni. I am in the picture Jon posted below of the cup final. A lovely memory and one I'm sure he'll be proud of. Rest in peace Idris. Never forgotten.
