Hersh Markusfeld, 86, of Mill Valley, CA, passed away peacefully on January 24, 2024, with family members nearby.
Hersh was born on June 29, 1937 to Joseph and Mona Markusfeld in New York City. After graduating from New Rochelle High School in New Rochelle, NY he went on to study Math at MIT in Cambridge, MA.
After college graduation, he landed his first job as an actuary for Mutual of New York in NYC. …
