Harvey was an exceptional individual - a great leader, and an even greater person. Hiring me at Mattel in 1981, Harvey was the best manager I ever had the pleasure of working for - or with. His style and work ethic remained the light I held up throughout my entire career to guide me in becoming the best person I could be, both on and off the job. Our relationship became a friendship that has lasted, with you, dear Avra, almost 40 years.

Carol and I share in your grieving over Harvey’s passing. He will miss Harvey’s wit and charm, but most of all his kindness, and we will remember and cherish the memories of our time spent together for the rest of our days.

I am so sorry for your loss Avra and your huge family. Harvey was so lucky to have all of you. I got to know Harvey more at Camp Keepsake last Summer and we had a blast! He really enjoyed himself at the camp. Your family was fortunate to have him in their lives. It was such a pleasure getting to know him at our groups at CRS. I will miss his smiling face and his presence in our groups on Thursday night. May he rest in peace with the angels.

Dear Avra, family and all that had the honor and pleasure of knowing Harvey,

Every time I was with Harvey (and I wish it could be more) he was always in a great mood, always had a smile on his face, always kind and considerate. Harvey was calm, positive and a relaxed gentle man. I enjoyed talking with him and being around him. His virtues and attributes rubbed off on me when I was near him. Harvey lived a full life and traveled all over the world with Avra and touched so many lives. Carol and I will truly miss being in his gracious company.

Our hearts go out to you Avra and all of Harvey’s family. Harvey will sadly be missed but remembered for being the man he was, a dear sweet man.
