I knew Harry through his brother Dean. Dean and I have been friends for many years. What I will always remember about Harry is his devotion to and caring for not only own 5 cats but for the feral cat colonies in his neighborhood. Harry devoted much of his time to feed many unwanted cats that no one else cared about. Harry’s passing is a great loss not only to his friends and family but also to the cats he owned and the feral cats in his neighborhood.
The days are passing and it all seems surreal that my brother is gone. May God's goodness and faithfulness overflow. I was cleaning out my brother's dresser draw and I found this piece of paper written by him. I could tell from his left handed writing. It said watch your thoughts for they truly become your words. Watch your words for truly they become your actions. Watch your actions for they become your habits. Watch your habits for they become your character. Watch your character for it becomes your Destiny. I was lucky in this life to have brother's, but Harry always had a good disposition and people were drawn to him ,like bees to honey. Thank you for being my brother. Dean
My name is Dean. I am Harry's younger brother. I am lucky to have had a great brother. Harry was kind, compassionate and loved his cats. Harry was well traveled and enjoyed his life. He was in the VA hospital for 90 days and wanted to come back to his home in Whiting, Indiana. I will miss my unique brother every day. Thank you to all who loved my brother because of his big heart. Dean
