Cousin Jonni was a spiritual inspiration to me and very knowledgeable about various health issues. When last spoke she enlightened me to many of her life lessons and opinions which I will never forget. Rest in Power and love cousin.

Jonni: The Spiritual Warrior
Over the years, Jonni and I frequently spoke about what we had learned and the challenges we faced in pursuing God's Word. While we often disagreed on ministries and who was teaching, we were eventually able to look past our personal preferences and focus instead on what the Bible actually said. This taught me an important lesson, setting aside matters of personal taste allowed us to truly “taste and see” what the Lord wanted us to learn. As Jonni was very opinionated, having a different idea than hers on almost anything often led to a spirited debate. Nevertheless, we resolved our differences and consistently held very meaningful conversations about what it meant to be followers of Christ. Our weekly conversations over the last few years have been very gratifying, with the Lord being the biggest part of our discussions. I will miss my weekly faith chats with Jonni.

Jonni: The Artist
I have so many fond memories of Jonni as an artist. I can still see her sitting on the front porch or in the backyard of our parents' house in Institute, lost in her work. I was always amazed by the beautiful pencil drawings she created of flowers, trees, and the scenery around us.
While I don’t recall if there was a common theme to her sketches, I will never forget her incredible creativity and attention to detail. She was very protective of her portfolio; in fact, I got in trouble more than a few times for sneaking into her room just to check out at the pages and pages of pictures she had drawn.
I’m not sure if that portfolio is tucked away in storage somewhere, but if it is, it would be such a blessing to whoever finds it or holds it now. It truly is a piece of her heart.

My name is Sandra Nichols Price and I had Mama’s s Place, LLC Assisted Living Facility in Institute, WV for 13 years. I had seen Ms Jonni for many years either at the post office, catching the bus, or walking in the area, but I didn’t know her. When I had set the business up and was looking for a key person to work there, one of the neighbors referred Ms Jonni to Mr. When I met her, I knew she was the missing piece of the puzzle I needed in order to get started on the right path. She was knowledgeable, compassionate, professional - just what I needed. She worked there 8 years. She was family from that time on, even when she left. At Mama’s place, we served the community, the aging population, and also animal control, especially cats. Haha. We fed cats and got attached to them. Ms Jonni brought her trap down and trapped them, then I’d get them fixed and Ms Jonnie took quite a few of them home after they were fixed. Ms Jonnie was not only my employee, but she was my friend, my Sister-in-Christ, my therapist who I could confide in, and most important, my unofficial doctor. (Smile). If she even thought I was sick or had any health issues, she’d pull out a pencil and paper and write information down that she had researched. Also, I was glad to finally meet the stranger I had seen for many years in the area. I was able to put a name with the face. Ms Jonni was the Angel God sent to help me get established. She will be missed.

Yes my name is Robert Fauber and I had such an experience with precious sister Johnny I would go and pick her up for every service because she lived close to where I do in Charleston and it was just awesome how this woman had taken to me and kind of took me under her arm or wing I might say and cared about my health and well-being and tried every way to be a mother figure in a sense as well and tell me what not to eat and what to eat and all the do and donts and getting old and what will cause bad health and what will bring good health and so forth and I really admired her so much and gotten so close to her that she was closer than some of my family members and it was always such a blessing to go and pick her up and she had such a meek and pleasant Spirit about her and it was about 15 minutes drive sometimes to the church so we get to talk all the way there and even back and it was just awesome to be enlightened by some of the stories that she had and some of the events that placed in her life and she always had an outlook for others the well-being of others she just was I don't know it was instilled in her to be mindful of others in the health more than anything of others good health and I'll never forget that but yeah I was really hoping to see her at least one more time after she got out of the hospital but now I'll have to take and wait till I get to heaven I praise God I know she's up there just a shouting and praising the Lord.
