I am tremendously lucky to have known George and to be included in the circle of friends with Nick Spanos, Michael Karloutsos, Andy Veniopoulos, and others.
At the time, I worked for Governor George E. Pataki in his Manhattan office and I oversaw Greek American relations. We all shared many amazing memories and adventures working with the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese, the Governor, and President George W. Bush. George stood out as being the kindest and most polite of us, and I count myself in that as well.
The only time I’ve ever been to Chicago, to date, is for George and Marina’s wedding. I’m so grateful that I was able to attend the wedding.
Rest in peace and I’m sorry I am unable to pay our respects and condolences (Alison, Ares [11 years], and I) in person.

There aren’t many people in this world making a Monday a happy day just by wishing you a „happy Monday“. George was such a friendly, loyal and positive person who was able to brighten up my day. I really miss him! I’m sending my sincere condolences to all his family members.
