Brother Gene, we of the General US Grant Camp of the Sons of Union Veterans of the  Civil War are blessed to have known you. Men of your caliber are few and far between these days.  Once a treasure becomes a memory, those memories become a treasure. So sorry I missed your services. Rest in Peace!
Gene you impacted so many lives. You were the happiest of warriors among our group of volunteers in the South Bay. You helped us believe and try and become better people. We keep Jackie and your whole family in our prayers and look forward to seeing you again in Heaven.
Dear Jackie and family...  Mike and I are so very sorry for your loss, but are comforted by knowing Gene is with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and that you/we will see him again.  Gene was a wonderful man, will be greatly missed and we are thankful to have known him.  Love and prayers sent your way, for comfort at this difficult time.

Daddy I miss you! — with Gene and Michelle
I will forever be grateful and honored to have had the privilege to know Gene and to call him and his beautiful wife Jackie,   friend.  He loved God, Country and his wife Jackie. His commitment, passion and love for Sedona and its first responders in particular was known by all in his circle. Gifted in so many ways, we were blessed by his life. Prayers and so much love to Jackie and his children.
Gene was an amazing man of God.  His faith was strong until the end, and he is with Jesus now!  He loved Jackie & the rest of his family so much.  He led the safety effort at our church.  He served on the Sedona Fire Board & we were happy to assist him and Al Comello with this.  So happy to have known you.
Jackie so sorry to hear of your loss of Gene. His life was inspirational .
