Eugene Victor McCarthy was born on June 4, 1940, and passed away on June 27, 2024. He was an extraordinary man and I would even say legendary. He wore many hats and was passionate and caring. He led a life of service. He served in the Army 101st Airborne Division, LAPD, and LA County Fire Department for 27 years. He helped create the concept of a fireman as a paramedic worldwide.
