Eugene Darby of Kenai, Alaska passed away on November 23rd, 2021 at the age of 82. He was just north of Clam Gulch on his way home from an early Thanksgiving dinner with family.

Gene was born in Topeka, Kansas to Mildred and Raymond Darby on June 6th, 1939. He graduated in 1957 from Highland Park Highschool in Topeka, Kansas. He married Carolyn on June 7th, 1959 in Lawrence, Kansas. He served in the Army …

Gene's wishes were that he did not want a funeral service but we truly appreciate all the love and support from everyone, seeing how many lives Gene has touched as been amazing for his entire family.
