I am so deeply sorry for your loss. I have so many great memories of Mr. D... making us chocolate chip pancakes in your mauve kitchen, giving us some great work swag including my favorite Absolut Scharf t-shirt and Katy’s bathing suit?!?! Not to mention my favorite memories cruising around in the Pontiac 6000 rocking out to Dire Straits or one of many other 80's rock bands. I can picture him with his arm draped across the bench seat and FEEL the music blaring as we all sang at the top of our lungs. I still think of him every time I hear Money for Nothing, and I turn it up and smile. I was honored to be considered one of the 'nerd sisters' when I was around...which was a lot :) Being at the DiMuro’s was like being at my second home and y'all always made me feel like part of the family. I was not spared the chores (this is where I learned the best way to fold a fitted sheet...thank you Mrs. D!) or the occasional yelling (which was what made it feel like family) but most often, I was the grateful recipient of so much love, laughter and irrepressible fun. Mr. D had the best sense of humor (this MAY be where I learned the art of sarcasm), a love for music and art which he shared generously, and he gave the best hugs. I can picture him now listening to some groovy tunes. Rest easy Mr. D.

I am thinking of you all and sending so much love and hugs. xoxo

~Jean

Your Dadd-o was the greatest. He provided Dad-ness to me when I did not even realize I needed it.  I can still hear him saying "Hellllooooo" to me upon my frequent entry to the house, and man did I enjoy leaning over the kitchen counter having great conversations with the man. Tho we differed in our team affiliations, I enjoyed baseball talks the most, along with some good pop culture and history convos. I will miss him heartily but feel so blessed to have known Mr. D. Xoxoxo love you all so, so much. We are familia.
