Doug was a very special person. He never met a stranger and had the kindest heart! I am sorry I cannot be there but will be in spirit. We have all lifted in prayer as you navigate this time in your lives.

My husband Don and I met Doug years ago when he purchased the condo next to ours. We fast became friend's. We loved everything about Doug. His smile was contagious. His heart was so kind and gracious to all he met.

Doug was a godly man who inspired us to be better. I enjoyed so many conversations with him for that season. He always helped me bring in my groceries. Which blessed me.

He made such an impression on us. Once he and my husband went racing around town in a sports car that he rented. When I told him I was nervous about them doing that, he laughed. Doug reminded me life was an adventure to be lived well.

Doug lived this life very well. Leaving an incredible legacy behind. What a kind loving soul who will truly be missed. I'm so thankful Doug graced us with his life in so many ways. We loved and adored him.

We shall see you one the other side my friend and pilgrim in the faith. Thank you for making such an impact on this world and your community.
