Devin was a friend/co-worker, We were together every minute of our work day,we goofed off, we worked hard & most of all we talked alot! In the short time I knew Devin,I learned a bunch...His family came first before anything! We talked one day about the military. He told me how he had tried to join the Marine Corps when he was younger but he had a weight problem, when his brother approached him asking which branch to go in? of course he said the Marines! That brother went & found out that it was tough but made it! Devin said he never told him it would be tough when he asked !!Just that they were the best.! Anyway Devin & I got on the subject of maybe still getting in,so we googled age limit to join the Army. He was still young enough! The next day he came in all excited! He says Wes I am going to join the Army ,I went & talked to a recruiter!,Will you help me? I told him that I would, There were mornings he would come in down on himself & I would have to pick him back up & explain to him he had to prove the negatively wrong!! I knew Devin was serious, when he came in clean shaven!! I am missing him like crazy already! I just smile when I think about making him believe someone released a alligator in the front pond!.lol I will always make sure the American flag is on your grave brother!! Love you!!..OOH RAH!!
