Dayla started working at the hospital in Forest Grove before I did, and I remember how i was so surprised to find what an excellent nurse she was. Not that I expected less, but that how her abilities far exceeded my expectations. Caring, skilled, and more than able to function under pressure. And fighting for what she knew to be correct. 

🙂 one of the first things that popped into my head the day I heard the news was a long, long time ago. I think we were watching the circus of stars or some thing, and I took the little tiny green turtle big wheel that I had at the time I think I was three or so over to the top of the stairs, leading down into the basement. I was preparing to take the great jump. I just saw on television she saw me and came running over yelling no no no, I have some actual memories of that, but it was the strongest just the other day

Your mom was a beautiful person inside and out. You and your family are in our hearts and thoughts in loving memory of my sweet friend.  Dayla left an empty space in my heart 🖤.
