Dan - I miss you and you will always have a special place in my heart. Though we were close for just 5 years, it felt like we had a lifetime’s worth of adventures together. Plenty of them were grand (Japan, Hawai), most took us into nature (Moab, Tahoe, Yosemite, Canada, Big Sur), and music and good food were also common themes (SXSW, New York, Portland and too many concerts and dinners to possibly recount). But the memories I’ll cherish most are the simpler times: the nights with a delicious home cooked meal, a good bottle of wine and stimulating conversation that carried on well into the night.

I will always remember your generosity. You gave and gave, expecting nothing in return, and always wanted everyone around you to be happy. It was an infectious energy that touched so many people. Everyone who got the opportunity to know you is better for it.
