Several years ago I attended Colton’s baptismal out at Grindstone Lake. I hadn’t seen or heard about him for years in between until we became friends on Facebook a couple months ago. He was a member on our church but had stopped attending.
We visited privately on Facebook often.I was so glad to hear he was getting his AA from Pine Tech.
He told me he missed everyone at church and was hoping to get back there.
He truly was a kind person and I feel honored to reconnect with him after so long. I am beyond saddened to know what has happened to hear what has happened to him.
You are greatly loved Colton… by is your friends and especially by your Creator God and Savior, Jesus Christ. RIP❤️❤️

I am beyond sad to hear of Colton's passing, The last time I saw him was at Gramma Joann's because he was helping his dad clean out some things. He kept saying he was so glad to see me and he was going to make it a point to come down and see me. His smile lit up the room. May you rest in peace Colton. My condolences too, to Steve, Tanya, Bobbi and Joleen.

It’s been about a year since we last talked. I am so beyond crushed. I don’t want to believe it. My brother told me last night & I about collapsed to the floor. You were such a huge part of my life for so many years! One of my many memories of us is how you always called me punk & our road trip to Cali! And your hugs! Colton, I have been so incredibly sad about this. We haven't talked much the last 10 years, but God, we were so close for many years when we were younger. I have been thinking about all of our experiences and times together and they will be memories I will always cherish. Sad to be reading this. I’ll always remember the time me , Colton and Berkman set up the water balloon sling shot in his front yard and we were launching them across the street at principal Tetzlafs house. You were a good dude Colton.

My condolences to the family. Colton was honestly one of the greatest people I know. He was loved by so many and he loved with all his heart. He will be missed so much.

This really touches me I've been the victim of horrible domestic for a while and I keep going back to it but yesterday my boyfriend almost had me dead and then threatened to kill me and my kids if I called the police and for the first time I called 911 had him arrested and then I read this today it hit me so hard I want to promise to never go back to domestic violence and to close contact with all the professional helping offered to me right now in Colton's honor .I'm sorry for this great loss
