Claudine had an amazing creative ability. She was a very talented seamstress. Claudine designed and made most of her clothes as well as her line of tennis clothing for her Zut label. She opened her high-end clothing boutique in Corona del Mar. We spent many holidays feasting on delicious meals that Claudine cooked with recipes she found in Bon Appetite magazines or created herself. Then she sent the leftovers home with us! Claudine made beautiful clothing for her grandchildren JeanRene, Jasmine, Saxon, Liam, and Aiden. I kept the clothes she made for my kids because they were so beautiful. Claudine was also very skilled at painting. Amazingly, she had the patience to paint such intricate artwork. She sent us a painting of homes by a lakeside in Europe. It reminds me of Lake Lucerne in Switzerland which we visited many years ago. Claudine loved to travel and may have fallen in love with this lake and wanted to paint it. I will always remember my mother-in-law Claudine for her artistic and creative life force. She had a charisma that would light up the room as she entered. Claudine loved life, her family, her friends, and her art. She was a dear lady who will be greatly missed!
