Cate was part of our MBA family and we created bonds that will forever be cherished. She was an incredibly thoughtful, kind, smart and ridiculously funny human being…and I feel so privileged to have met her in person . She dropped off homemade soup and lasagna when we had our baby…the container still lives in our kitchen and will always remind me of the instinctively selfless human that  she was.

We love you Cate and you will forever be in our hearts.

Cannot even process this. My memories of Cate from various times in our lives have been flashing over and over and are so vivid. Because she was so dynamic and so vivid and so unforgettable. I’ve never met anyone like her or anyone who made me feel the way I felt when I was with her. There was this deep admiration, respect, almost lust, and feeling of being lucky when you were with her that I haven’t been able to match in any other friendship I’ve had. My deepest and most sincere condolences to Cate’s family and friends. She is truly just so special to so many people.
I worked with Cate while she did her residency at the Portland VA. I used to call her “Wolverine” You will forever be missed and loved.

I remember when Lydia fell leaving my mother's house after dinner and I went with her to the ER.  Lydia knew that she wanted Cate on the phone and we got her, with the result that there was a three way consultation in the ER with the ER resident, Lydia, and Cate.  Cate was smart and calm and Lydia was bursting with pride.  I hope with my whole heart that they are together in some universe now.
I did not have the chance to meet cate. Thanks to my son who lived with them for a few months, I know she was sweet, smart, funny, and full of love. She was a great friend to many and loved to enjoy time with everyone she knew. My deepest condolences to her family and Tony.
Genuinely so lucky that I was able to meet her, and even call her aunt. Truly an amazing person and the kindest soul. Never a dull moment with her, and really made me feel like I had a second home. I will always be sad about the memories we weren’t able to make, and about how I didn’t get to know you more or for longer. Despite this, I will always cherish the moments we had together and will forever love you. One of my favorite moments was when we went to the beach, joked about the lighthouses, and of course, had vegan food.  Thank you so much for everything, aunt Cate💕 forever in my heart.
I am so sorry to hear of Cate's passing. My heart is broken. I just can't believe she's gone. I worked with here at GSRMC in Corvallis Oregon.  She was amazing.  My deepest sympathies to her family. Patty Farm RN

I wish I had gotten the chance to meet the wonderful, loving woman she was! May her memory carry on throughout time with those that she loved so dearly! My support and love go out to Tony and the rest of her family as you reflect on the beautiful memories you cherish of her. The world was so blessed to have Cate in it!
I want to say this was in 99' I was all excited to go to my 1st concert...N*SYNC!!! And to top off my excitement my cousin Cate was coming with me! Mind you we were about 11 or 12. We had a blast until....they played the song God Must Have Spent More Time on You and the band would fly over the crowd. All the sudden there goes Cate running towards the stage and gets into the reserved seats haha My mom was scared to death, we lost her! We looked everywhere until the crowd started to leave and here comes Cate crying happy tears, grabs me and says, " Justin's sweat hit me!!" 😂 Even as a little girl Cate would go after what she wanted and didn't miss an experience. She is such a big part of my childhood memories that I'll always treasure...here's to summer days and nights Cate..love you always and forever ❤️
