I have no idea where to start.   (there will be stories too).   I believe I met Cate in either the 3rd or 4th grade when she moved here and began attending parkview elementary.   She was picked on by the other students upon arrival but quickly became known as having lightning fast wit, independence, and a certain poise.   Cate was ALWAYS SO full of life and adventure.    She was the life of about every party I attended with her.   Despite my lack of popularity in later school Cate always treated me exactly as she would anyone else; sometimes to the groups chagrin.   I cannot express how much this hurts.   I will always consider you a close friend; even if it had been a few years!!  Rest In Peace, you belong amongst whatever greater things are waiting for you...not with us schlubs.   I'll <3 ya forever cate.     Im so sorry.  shocked.  saddened.

  • My heart goes to everyone who loves Cate, especially to you, Isabel and Matt and Wayne and to you her brother and sister. When Cate left Marquette, I followed her schooling, marriage, and career through Lydia, her grandmother and my dear friend. Cate's a star and I will miss her bright light. I'm sorry for the raw pain you all now bear. I send you love and healing light.
