One of many amazing Rehoboth memories. Took my kids and look at those welcoming smiles.

I've been hearing Caroline's laugh over the last few days, whenever I think about her and about her and Paige. Caroline was amazing, so generous, and the best kind of intense. Over the years, I would be lucky to see her irregularly on the occasion I'd make it to New York. But I would often hear updates from Dan about her new accomplishments, her new projects. She was both single-minded and able to create herself and her life in ways I continue to find admirable and heartening. I met her when we were both in college and she was always someone who both knew who she was and created herself in what she was doing. That remained true of her the older we got; in fact, it became more true of her as the years went on. I count myself extremely blessed to have been friends with her. I will continue to have Caroline and Paige and all of Caroline's family and friends in my thoughts.

I really only met Caroline this past March when she read Jesus in our Palm Sunday Passion, but she was so warm and generous and I so enjoyed getting to know her. We'll have such fond memories of her at St. George's and will miss seeing her every week. Our prayers are with all her family and friends.

I hadn't seen Caroline since college theater days but we'd just reconnected over the show she was doing and this is heartbreaking. I've been reading the memories and I wish she could see how many people adored her. Sending my deepest condolences.

My condolences to Caroline's family and those that loved her. She was very enthusiastic about the Episcopal Diocese of New York's Anitracism Committee's work. She was a strong contributor and did more than her quota in facilitation workshops. I will miss her smile during our Zoom meeting as well as in person. The committee will miss her sensitivity and insights.
Peace Roberta

I only got to know Caroline briefly, through her time at St. George's in Arlington, but she was a bright light in every interaction we had. My prayers to all her loved ones that you may find the space to grieve as you need and to hold her memory in your hearts.

Paige, I am so sorry your beautiful partner is gone. Caroline was one of the most positively glowing and delightful people on the planet. She will be missed.

Caroline was one of my favorite professors at LIU Post. Her enthusiasm for the theatre world was as infectious as her laugh. She was someone who always championed my crazy ideas and was a sound board to bounce new ideas off of. She was the first I reached out to when I became the co-artistic director of a regional theatre. She was a supporter of my thesis project when not many others were. She was someone who I aspire to be and I only hope to be half the educator and theatre artist she was.

I am heartbroken over the news. I had the privilege of being a part of till death do us part. The writing and music is just stunning. I still dream of a production. It was an absolute honor to work on such a beautiful piece with Caroline and bobby. I never knew of her heart situation. I’m deeply sad for her precious wife and family and friends. I adored her and feel very lucky that I got to be a small contributor in their creative process. May her family and friends and wife find strength in knowing how beautifully she Seized each day. I am so deeply sorry for everyone’s pain and sadness.
Rest, oh talented one. You will be missed.

To have someone that believes and supports you and pushes you even when you want to give up is a gift. For that someone to be Caroline Prugh is a miracle. I owe so much to her, and forever will.

I was devastated when I heard the news of Caroline's passing. She had a beautiful spirit, full of passion, and totally committed to social justice. I will miss our weekly and sometimes off-line discussions of antiracism books and films. Most of all, I will miss seeing her in church most of the weeks I was there. Condolences and love to Paige, Jane, the family, and Caroline's many friends and colleagues. Rest in peace, Caroline.
