I always appreciated Carol’s passion in everything she did. She wore her huge heart on her sleeve. And there was no bigger Eagles fan. I will always remember her joy in organizing and overseeing our summer barbecues at the Wanamaker House Pool. Every time we walked into Parc together I felt like I was entering with royalty. The reception from staff and patrons was celebratory. She was truly loved by all in the Rittenhouse Square community.

Carol will always be my friend first, we championed each other; sometimes fought like cats and dogs, always behind closed doors. We protected each other from ourselves sometimes. She taught all of us the true value of relationships.
Style, energy, courage, generosity.

Carol was more than just a dear friend — she was family. Her presence in our home was always a gift; full of warmth, stories, and that sharp wit that kept everyone on their toes. As my wife’s best friend, she became a big part of our lives — someone who brought laughter, insight, and comfort every time she walked through the door.
She had this incredible way of making everyone feel seen, whether it was in a bustling restaurant or over a quiet morning coffee. Her generosity of spirit, her loyalty, and her fierce dedication to the people she loved will stay with us always.
We miss her deeply, but feel lucky to have known and loved her.

I first met Carol in 2008, and right away she felt like the big sister I never had. Even though we weren’t coworkers, we both shared the same world of restaurants, and she took me under her wing with a kind of love and care that left a mark on my life. She was patient when I needed guidance, she made me laugh when I needed lightness, and she always had a way of making me feel supported and seen. What began as a chance meeting grew into a bond that shaped me in ways I’ll carry forever. She wasn’t just a friend—she was family to me. My heart aches knowing she’s gone, and she will be so deeply, deeply missed.

My deepest condolences to Carol’s Family and Friends. I 1st met her in 2000 as she was assisting with the opening of Tuscan Steak. I eventually did work for her at China Grill in 2003. I was so impressed with her; she was dynamic, passionate, driven and good friend. Rest In Power ❤️

Carol knew my partner Sebastian and I separately, and then together, and then watched us as we grew our family. She held both our babies and was the penultimate loving force. We will miss her very much.
