It is with heavy hearts that we share that Carl passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning (2/24/26).

We are so incredibly grateful for all of the love, prayers, meals, messages, and support you’ve shown throughout this journey. Your kindness has meant more to our family than we can ever fully express.

Carl T. Wibbenmeyer lived a life defined by intellect, conviction, and a deep, steady love for the people around him.

Carl was born in Amarillo, TX on December 8, 1959 to Edgar and Helen Bené Wibbenmeyer. He grew up as part of a large, close-knit family that included four sisters and two brothers. Carl graduated from Bryan Adams High School in Dallas, TX in 1978. From an early age, it was clear that he had …
