Carl, we spent a lot of days playing football - and whatever - in that big front yard y'all had ... you were a GREAT pal. As we grew we kind of lost touch with one another, going different ways and all.
But I knew if I were to see you again, we would still be friends.

I am so privileged to be Carl Halle's friend. I know what a kind, gentle and deeply spiritual man he was. He was a good listener. He had his struggles. We shared in that. He loved baseball. I learned a lot about the game going to Gator softball and baseball games with him. I loved standing next to him singing the National Anthem out loud. We had great fun. He is with the Father now and I take comfort in that. I'm so sad he is gone and miss him. Charlie McGee
