Caleb never stopped being supportive.  He always encouraged me with my piano playing, and would tell me that he really enjoyed it.  He said he would listen to it when he wanted to relax.  I wrote this for him, so now I'm sharing it for him.

Oh Caleb 😢 I remember all of the sweet memories of running around the basement at Dayspring… running in and out of the house and around the field. VBS. When we all got stuck in the custodian closet. I hadn’t seen you in years but I can still see your smile and hear your laugh! A sweet soul gone much too soon. Your dad will be holding you close, I know. -Kassidy Wages
He was such a sweet guy, from going to elementary all the way up to high school he had such a bright perspective on life. I am so sorry for your loss, may he rest in peace. -Amara Rose
Caleb … the true definition of spontaneous. I never knew what I was in for when he’d call me already waiting in my driveway or just randomly finding him in my garage racking my grandpa’s brain. I joined robotics as a favor to my softball coach & could’ve never imagined the friendships that would develop. From buying my first beta fish to impulsively painting my room purple on spring break — the memories are endless. In adulthood, it looked more like random facetime calls or dms just so the other knew we were still in each others corners no matter how much time had passed. I hate that your story on Earth is finished, but as we both know, energy cannot be created or destroyed. You had the best energy & that I can always keep with me. Rest easy friend ❤️❤️ -Keaira Clancy

I remember coming over a lot and Caleb coming over too to watch movies, play video games or play cards. I have SO many great memories laughing and goofing off with him. My favorite memory was when his hair grew out long and he wanted me to flat iron it. He thought I was burning his hair from the sound it made, from the steaming, and he always gave me a hard time about that.

He was so special and an amazing friend to be around. He was also a helpful part during my wedding for doing intro on the mic at the start of the reception. I am so blessed I have a video to be able to look back on. He gave us a blanket ladder that he made as a gift that is still in my living room today. I will always think about him when I see it.

Caleb meant so much to us, and we'll always be so grateful for the time we got to know him. - David and Kendall Shelby
I have never met someone who was so good at connecting with people, showing his thoughtfulness, and bringing light to whichever room he was in. Even during difficult times, Caleb was always a wonderful friend to others. He will be dearly missed and I'll be reflecting on so many memories. - Julie Weber
Caleb was an amazing person and friend. I'm so grateful for the memories we shared. Please know that I'm keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. - Mikayla
Caleb and I had kept in touch all these years. He was a bright and shining person and loved very much. I am sending your family all the love and strength I've got. This loss is being felt by the thousands of hearts and lives he truly improved. - Allison Reinbolt
As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life’s routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of God, family and friends. Please find comfort in the words found at Isaiah 61: 1,2. - DT
Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. During times of grief, the Bible offers reassurance and hope. Psalm 34:18 reminds us, “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.” May you find comfort in knowing that you are not alone, and that God is near to those who are suffering. - Symone
We worked many miles apart but we always talked as if we were just a desk apart. Caleb is missed on our team and will be remembered. - James Edwards
To the Furnas Family, I am so sorry to hear this. I remember Caleb when he was younger and we all were together at Daysprings. He always had a smile on his face. You are all in mine and Curtis prayers. Praying for comfort and peace during this time. Gone but never forgotten!
