I haven’t gotten the privilege to see Brandon since college at UT, but he left such an impression. I have laughed out loud at his hilarious stories and posts, and I have shared in grieving losses with him. He was one of those rare personalities that make life bright and beautiful, even from a distance. I am so so sorry for your loss.
Going to miss you brother. Until we meet again in the afterlife.

Brandon was such a sweet caring person and we both shared a love for music. He will surely be missed. Rest in peace.
Brandon, you really blessed us while you were here. Thank you for sharing your light, my brother✨

I don't have your eloquence to express our profound sorrow. Thanks for the famed pumpkin cheesecake. I'm sorry we can't work with you on the projects we have lined up. We miss you.
Brandon was one of the first people I met when I moved into Hess in 2004. He was also one of the first to greet me when I started Theatre. He had the gift of making everyone he met feel welcome and included. He was loved and will truly be missed.

Brandon & I were paired together for Cavalleria Rusticana in 2019 and had a running gag that I didn’t know his middle name. He refused to just tell me so every time we’d be close in proximity (while singing opera no less), he’d whisper his middle name where I could barely hear it - I spent weeks of rehearsal and the show trying to hear what he was whispering. He finally told me it was on his business card and I eventually found his card at home and was able to report that his middle name was Jovan (maybe a year later). Brandon was charming, funny, kind, and an immensely talented artist who made everyone feel like they were the most special human on the planet. His passing is a huge loss to everyone who knew him and the arts community of Knoxville. I will miss him dearly.
I'm heartbroken that I lost my friend. He was so talented and always so whitty and had a smile.  We would talk about what he was involved in musically. He was always so humble I'm going to miss him. Rest in peace my friend  🙏🏼

I am so very sad to hear this news. What a loss for our arts community.
