Sweet Brandon was a beacon of joy and creativity.  Man, I wish you were here to eloquently weave a signature Brandon description of my feelings at the moment because my words will undoubtedly fall short. I’m grateful that our paths met back at UT in 2004 and that we had the opportunity to make such beautiful music together. I’m grateful for your smile, huge laugh, energy, kindness, empathy, humor,  talent and support all these years.  You sir, left a mark and your wonderfully warm, soulful voice will echo here in our hearts.

I met Brandon on a few occasions at cast after-parties and around town, and he was always the kindest, most joyful person, every single time. It's a rare thing to miss someone you hardly knew, but it's a testament to the impact his presence had on the community. Everyone was made better by him. What a great loss indeed. Rest well, Brandon.
