This was a tremendous shock. I’m just in shock. Brandon was a literally an inspiration for me. I only met him a couple times and I’m so grateful I got the chance. What he shared with the world and the people who cared about him made us all better. His social consciousness, empathy, and refusal to sit back in the face of injustice is motivating, and it’s something I strive for. He was a fantastic opera singer, but he was so much more. I miss him so much already.
