Barry and I grew up in the same neighborhood but I didn't really know him until 5th or 6th grade. I was at his house on Surrey St. often. He and Steve, (his brother, great guy too) and their Dad had built the most elaborate pigeon coop you could imagine. It was fascinating to me. Barry seemed like he never had a bad day, always cheerful, always the optimist, always adventurous. I lost track of him in high school and only recently had reconnected with him. Great guy, fun guy was Barry. Very sad to hear of his passing. -Just an old friend, Hank Blair
