Barbara Nell (Carson) Pica, age 77, passed away on December 23, 2019 from complications of Alzheimer’s Disease. Barbara was born in Indiana on September 6, 1942 to Robert and Viola Carson. The family moved from Indiana to California for a short period before going to Arizona and then back to California in 1959. Barbara was in the first graduating class at Western High School. She married Bernie in February of 1964 and gave birth to Tony in 1965 and Lou in 1970. She worked at Gemco for many years and later, Costco before retiring.
Barbara loved family and going to Los Alamitos Race Course. She and Bernie owned many horses throughout their marriage, including a few that were stakes horses. Her favorite horse being Moolah Diamond. She made many friends throughout the years and never missed out on the fun. You could always count on seeing her and Bernie in the Vessels Club.
Barbara leaves behind her husband of 55 years, Bernie; sons, Tony (Dana) and Lou (Adriana); grandchildren, Nikki, Trevor, Luana, and Matthew; siblings, Betty Price (Wendell), Beverly Ainsworth (Bill), Bobbie Lant, Danny (Alexa), David (Lori) and Deborah Campbell (Mike Kennedy) and many nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Viola Carson.
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Tustin Ranch Golf Club, 12442 Tustin Ranch Rd, Tustin, CA 92782 from 12 Noon to 3pm. In lieu of flowers, anyone wishing to make a donation may do so to Alzheimer's Association
