I’m so sorry for your loss, Sandy. Whenever I think of your dad, he kind of scared me. Whenever I think of  their home, I think of all those clocks, all going off at different times. After a while I didn’t hear them, but in the beginning I never got any sleep!

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May the souls of all the faithful departed Rest In Peace. Amen.

My Dad died this week. He was a complex person but once you were loved by him and he considered you his, that connection was for life. There was a lot I wish I had asked him before he was gone but in his final days he gave me the greatest gift of my life. During my last visit with him as his body and mind failed him, he had a brief moment of awareness where he suddenly recognized me, grabbed my hand and said, “Oh, I know you” and with emotional tears said “I love you so much”. There was so much of his story I wanted to hear, but in the end, all I needed to hear was that he loved me.

You gave so much throughout your life, it’s only right that we give back to others in your name. We love you, and you will forever be remembered for the amazing husband/father/grandfather/great grandfather that you were.

Arthur was always special to me growing up.  He would stay with us when he was stationed near Baltimore .i have so many fond memories of Arthur.  He took so many home movies of us . He was with us the Thanksgiving weekend Kennedy was assassinated. He used to tease me mercilessly  but He was my “Arfie” . Through the years, we visited whenever we came to Florida each year. He was always my link to my Dad who we lost over 50 years ago

He will be very much missed. Sending my deepest condolences to Lucille, Mark and Sandy and their families  May his memory be for a blessing

Cousin Arthur was very special to our entire family.  He was the last link to the Elkin family and was always there for us providing support and encouragement  as we grew from children to adults.   We will miss him greatly, especially his unique sense of humor.   All our condolences to Lucille, Mark and Sandy.

Cousins Bobby & Sharon Yellon

I knew that man for many years. I checked on him after many hurricanes in the early 2000 when I lived in South Florida. I went to Sandy's house so many times during school years. Those stories would be for her to tell. Rest in peace
