Dr Youkilis was our Mothers,Janice Wilson, neurosurgeon @ St Luke’s AUG.2018. From the moment he entered the room we fell in love with this unique warm human! Mom was barely hanging on but she came alive when Dr Youkilis connected with her. He gave her a hug and comforted her and it was really something to witness his truly warm, kind manor! It was comical that he even recorded our Mother telling him “you don’t need to work on Christmas Eve,you need to go to Colorado and be with your family,NOW! His rare character made an indelible impression on our Mother and our family! He gave our Mom several more years so we could enjoy her❤️ I sure hope he trained some future doctors to have the utmost compassion that he displayed each and every time we had the pleasure of seeing him. Sadly we lost Mom a couple yrs ago to another illness. Sure wish we could’ve had the pleasure of meeting the parents that raised such an incredible human!! Weve just learned of Dr Youkilis passing, give Mom a big hug for us and we will see you on the other side Doc❤️

My deepest condolences. I have so many amazing memories growing up in your home. Noah, Jacob, Sam and I playing in your house, running around the neighborhood, going with their dad to Mr. wizards for ice cream. Watching lord of the rings during your NYE party. Watching Andy smile with his friends as he rode out of the neighborhood on his bike, is an image I will never forget. When he brought a human brain to show us in school. So many amazing memories I will never forget. I am so sorry, so so sorry.

It was a true privilege to hear the heartfelt tributes that the Youkilis family shared today. You are a beautiful family, and Andy clearly grew up to be the amazing person he was destined to be when I knew him back in our Wyoming High School days. Love and condolences to you all.
