My friends loved aunty Yvette…
My friends loved aunty Yvette. We traveled to Las Vegas for aunty birthday
YJ traveled with me, my mom, and sisters to New Orleans. We were walking down the hotel hallway and aunty said let’s play knicker knock. She hit someone room door as hard as she could and took off running. Me and Tye chased behind her and left mama in the back. Mama (Teresa) was so mad, “Vette you too old for that.” We laughed the whole day. We always had fun. YJ was my best friend!
My very first time being in Texas was for my brother Bill’s high school graduation. I wanted to stay the whole summer and Yvette allowed me to stay with them no questions asked. Since then she ALWAYS welcomed me with open arms every time I came out to visit. Such a beautiful, sweet soul with a contagious smile. She had the best dance moves and funniest jokes lol. Rest in Paradise Queen. 💙

My heart, my friend most importantly my Sister. Love that big beautiful smile. We could look at each other and laugh. My biggest cheerleader when the capping going down. Always had my back and I had hers know matter what it was. I was her Wee Wee for 57 years. That’s what she called me since I was a little girl. We did everything together. We stuck together like glue. Sis had the biggest heart. Sometimes I would fuss at her about doing different things then I would just shut up because that was just her. I love you sooooo much. Until we meet again Sis. Comfort my heart!
Sending prayers and condolences to the family. Rest in peace 💚💙
Yvette love celebrating with Family and Friends
In response to "What did Yvette love to do?"
Have You ever Loved Somebody - Freddie Jackson. This was Uncle Larry & Aunty Yvette favorite song
My parents always throws family parties. Aunty Yvette, Bill, & myself would show out! Laughing & dancing. My mom Teresa would tell aunty Yvette, “Yvette you too old.” Aunty Yvette would respond “that’s tinky Teresa!” 😂 lol we had a million jokes
This pass year I would come home everyday from work and run to aunty Yvette room. I bust in her room and yell “Yvette get out that bed!” We laughed everyday at that same joke for months. 😂😂 She would say “tink that’s so cold. Making my stomach hurt from laughing.”
