Auntie Yvette played so much always the life of the party with her contigeous laugh, infamous sweep the floor dance, non stop jokes, beautiful smile and spirit. I will miss you saying when we come through the door at family functions “what dat Crip like!” Then we laugh. Carter said he’s going to miss you asking him and Cameron “how are you doing in school?!” You always had tips and advice for me when it came down to the kids education considering you was a teacher.  I’ll miss those stories too lol! You say “those kids bad!” Lol but they always respected you! I’m going to miss seating in the corner with you just talking about everything under the sun at family functions! I love you and thankful I was able to experience Yvette Jacks! May you rest in eternity with our Heavenly Father! This one hurts 😢  Sending my love, prayers and condolences 💐

Yvette and I was always drinking partnas. I remember after I had Tre u was breast feeding and Vette came over she was drinking her beer. She said Dela you can have a beer I said no I can’t auntie I’m breast feeding she had the yeast from the beer helps produce milk I said Vette you sure you always wanna play. So I called my nurse and she said it was true. I hurried up and popped that beer open. Man my boobs leaked all night I was overflowing with milk 😂😂😂😂
I remember I was pregnant with Tre and Vette came to get me to run errands. I checked my bank account and somehow $800 was deposited into my account I said auntie somebody put $800 in my account she said girl look at God I said but it’s not mine, she said the Lord put it there and took me to buy this car I wanted for $750 we talked them down to $600 and I gave Vette $100 cause the Jacks gonna get them a cut of some money 🤣 so I got my first car and later on owed the bank ahahahaha
Yj, my girl ! I love you thank you for always being there for me and supporting me through whatever. From every basketball game college game ceremonies my birthday you was there. From all the laughs and dances to ours shots lol we loved a good shot . You was the light in every room and your smile and laugh made it brighter. I’ll forever cherish the moments of doing your makeup or eyebrows . Coming home and going right to your room flopping on your bed begging for your snacks or jolley ranchers. God couldn’t have blessed me with a better auntie/mama! I love you

Aunty attended my high school, aau, and college games. One of my biggest cheerleaders
My parents had their 30th wedding anniversary party and aunty was tearing the dance floor up. Everybody was cheering her on. She did her signature sweep dance. She was feeling it. Next thing you know, YJ busted out in the splits 😂😂 hahahahah. She said “I ain’t never been able to do the splits.” We laughed forever.
My mom had a costume party for her birthday and of course aunty Yvette showed out!! The party was over about 3am and aunty Yvette was headed up the stairs to the room when she fell backwards down the stairs with her nachos in her hand. We called the ambulance. Uncle Gerald came running down the stairs and my mom was holding her head scared. Bill and my dad was trying to check to see if aunty had a concussion. The medics came and was asking aunty Yvette questions. They asked her where she from and aunty replied “The Gardens, California Gardens.” Haha uncle Gerald was so mad he went up the stairs and went back to bed. Aunty played so much. Yet again, “Yvette you too old for this”.
Once again, me and Osh stayed doing something. We got bored while she was at work and kept calling 911 and hanging up. Little did we know they would show up. When they knocked, me and Osh bolted out the back and tried to hop the fence but it was brick and really tall. So Osh gave me a boost over the fence but when I landed in the neighbor's yard, they had a pitbull waiting for me. Meanwhile, on the other side of the fence, Osh had a gun drawn on her by the police because they thought we were intruders. Mom couldn't leave from work, so cousin Dela had to leave her job at HomeTown Buffet and stay with us until she got off work. Now that time, she was mad lol

Me and my sister Osh STAYED on a mission when she was at work from 2pm -10pm down the hill. During the summer, we had a daily routine: before she left for work, she would leave us the exact change to get food from Taco Bell. Once Osh woke up, we would do our chores, get dressed, scoot to Taco Bell or Del Taco, get our food and go swimming at Pebble Beach (one time I drowned, they gave us free passes for the rest of the summer). It was too much to scoot back up the hill so we would take the bus back (we knew the schedule by heart). We'd change, hide the wet clothes and just watch tv or get on Myspace until she came in. Whole time, she told us "Do not leave this house except for food". She just found out about a year ago when we finally told her lol. She said "See, y'all just bad."
My parents was strict but luckily I had aunty Yvette to look out for me lol. When they wouldn’t give me a ride to a party, aunty would give her car to Bill (who was 14 at the time), and he would drive us to the parties 😂. Or if I got in trouble at home, I would just walk down to aunty Yvette house. I have never ever got in trouble with my aunty. She spoiled me rotten.
