Aunt D.,
I don't know what to say or even where to start. I know I can't believe your gone, I know that my heart hurts and there is another giant hole in my heart that now resides were you once did. I know I'll miss your laughter, your hugs, your smile and our conversations. I'll just miss you most of all. But I'll have all the memories that we shared, all the wisdom you gave me, all the love you gave me when mom didn't, I'll laugh when I remember our Fist Fights, Smile when I think of your laughter, cry when I remember you won't be there when I need to vent or need one of your hugs and those kisses on my check that I always said EH! too and would wipe away. But while I will miss you I know that your up there with Amy, Mom, Paw Paw, GrandMother, Granny and all those who went before you living it up and watching over us and guiding us through our lives. And I know that when I see you on the other side, I won't ever have to miss you or feel the pain of your loss again. And as Your other Niece said: Peace Love and Butterflies! I love you Aunt D! Catch your Ass on the Flip side!

I remember when mom and I were working together at Bertram Nursing and Rehab. Denneise and I made a good team. We worked very well together. She even trained me as a whirlpool aide because she knew I would fill her position one day. She told me all her tips and tricks; she knew what each resident liked or didn’t like and exactly how to handle every quirk and condition they had. When she was no longer working at Bertram Nursing and Rehab, I became whirlpool aid and did very well thanks to her. That was one of the best jobs I’ve had. Thanks mom!!

Denneise holding her first grand baby the first time in the NICU center. She was there every day and brought her daughter, Mandi, to visit her baby because she worked there. She made sure that Mandi didn’t miss a day seeing her daughter in the NICU.
