Moonie was born on June 1, 1947 to Mary Raymond in Gunnison, MS. Moonie was raised by his Aunt Willie B. Barnett and his uncle Leo Barnett. Willie B. and Leo raised our father along side their thirteen children. Our father's cousins were his brothers and sisters. Moonie was married to Evelyn …
