Obituary
William (Bill) Richard Rooney, 87, of Buena Vista, Virginia passed away Thursday morning August 14th, 2025 after battling a long-term illness. He was born March 12th, 1938 in New Brunswick, New Jersey to William and Bernadette Rooney.
Bill was preceded in death by Rita his wife of 60 years to which he was ever committed.
Bill is survived by his daughter Karen Lazo with her husband Albert Lazo, his son Kevin Rooney with his wife …
