In Loving Memory

William Earl Pinkard

June 25th, 1947- May 3rd, 2024

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. – JOHN 3:16.

William “Bill” Earl Pinkard, 76, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 3rd, 2024. He was born in Pamplico, SC. He was the son of the late Benjamin Earl Pinkard and Carol B. Pinkard Helsel.

William worked for Eaton Corporation in Sarasota, Fl., as a supervisor and retired after 22 dedicated years. He enjoyed fishing and golfing. He was also an active member of Oneco Hope Global Methodist Church in Bradenton, Fl. William was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

William was predeceased by two sisters, Kathy Ratcliffe and Karen Owens and a grandson, Caleb Smith.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Sheryl (Price) Pinkard. He is survived by one sister, Barbara Pinkard Downey of Camden, SC., three daughters and one son; Chris Greene-Thomas (John) of Murrells Inlet, SC., Beth Greene (Jeff) of Hickory, NC., Melissa McCaskill (Tony) of Camden, SC., and Michael Glenn of Bradenton, Fl. He is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at Oneco Hope Global Methodist Church, 2112 53rd Avenue E., Bradenton, Fl., 34203 on Saturday, May 18th at 11:00 a.m.
