Thoughts of condolences to the family and friends in California, Japan,  Korea and around the world.  Kiely and I worked on different teams,  yet only several cubicles apart,  for a year at a company in Sunnyvale, four years ago.  It meant the world that his team and the team I was on really interacted a lot leading up to the user conference,  and I will always have the positive memory of our respective teams sharing a table for the dinner the night before the conference started,  and all of us enjoying conversation together.  

Secondly,  that year when I had a medical incident at the office and needed an ambulance,  the next day,  Kiely stopped by my cubicle and greeted me with concern yet gladness that I was okay.  

I'm so shocked to hear the news today,  and I know from LinkedIn that when he went to the Sage company that he really loved his time there as well.
