William (Bill) A. Maurer, 74, of Barnegat, NJ, died peacefully in his home on October 25, 2022. Born in Shenandoah, Pa., Bill was also a long-time resident of Whitehall, Pa., where he worked as a machinist for more than 30 years. Bill served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970, during which time he was a paratrooper with an Airborne company in Fairbanks, Alaska. After his time in the service, Bill became a …
